New-Zealand Pattern Cavalry Carbine – Graeme Barber Collection

 

This carbine (rack number 1500) was one of 1500 purchased by New Zealand, 1000 in 1901 and a further 500 in 1903, a collectable piece. From the green band it is likely this rifle spent its last days in military service with the NZ Cadet Corp.
