Late Issue Fazakerley No4 Mk2 – Mike Metz Collection

 

Featured here thanks to Mike, is a near end of production ROF Fazakerley No4 Mk2. The piece looks to be un-issued and un-fired, a very nice addition to any Enfield collection.

 

Fazakerley concluded its production of No4 rifles in 1955 with the final run of approximately 21,000 Mk2 rifles being serialized with the “UF55A” prefix. These rifles were made for the British government, but most were never issued and remained in war reserve until being sold off as surplus.
