Receiver markings on the DCRA rifle remained unchanged from its original .303 British military days. Note the bedding dowels, indicating this rifle has been accurized for competition.

Found on some rifles is an electro-penciled 5G encased in a square/rectangle, the true meaning of this marking is unconfirmed but it is believed to indicate direct ownership by the DCRA. The C inside an Oval indicates the rifle was specifically set up for competition by Canadian Arsenals.
