Despite being completely new built, the receiver still looks like a No1 Rifle. But note the box shaped 7.62mm magazine (12 round capacity).

Unique to the Ishapore is the very squared off nosecap.              Illustrated here is the 2A1 sight modification.                                   Finally, the re-shaped butt of the Ishapore 7.62mm rifle.

                                                                                                                The rear sight was range limited to 800 meters.                                  More closely resembling the butt of the FAL rifle.
